When he was a Roma player he claimed he was a Real Madrid fan
The archives can be surprising. Miralem Pjanic, Barcelona's new signing (awaiting official confirmation from Juve for the Arthur swap deal), is one of those who might regret what he previously said.
While at Roma, where he played from 2011 to 2016 he spoke to the newspaper Oslobodjenje about being a Real Madrid fan.
"Now I am happy at Roma but I don't know if I'll leave or not in the summer. If they ask me for my favourite team, I will tell them that as a kid I always liked Real Madrid," explained Pjanic, which he now might wish he had not said.
