Celta, Valladolid, Girona and Getafe are interested in the FC Barcelona defender, as well as Galatasaray, but the player prefers to continue in La Liga

Òscar Mingueza is outlining his departure from FC Barcelona. The player understands that he must leave to continue his professional career, and his future could be decided before the team returns from the American tour.

Mingueza, who only has one year left on his contract, has received several calls from clubs asking about his situation but currently, his priority is to continue in the Spanish league. Celta, Valladolid, Girona and Getafe are some of the Primera División teams that have inquired about him and would bet on his services.

The defender, at 23 years of age, wants to focus on his sporting prospects, over monetary ones. Mingueza has received proposals from abroad, such as Galatasaray, where he would have a higher salary, but would risk not having as competetive an environment for soccer as he can have in Spain.

Mingueza is aware that in La Liga he can sign for a team that knows him well and where he could play an important role. The Greek AEK Athens or the German Hoffenfeim are other teams that have knocked on his door in recent days.

Interested clubs are looking for a way to sign him. Barça have priced the player at 5 million euros, a high fee despite only one year being left on his contract. To facilitate his departure, the Catalans may accept a lower offer or allow his transfer in exchange for a percentage of a future sale.
