Barça announced early on Tuesday that the centre-back from Andorra will continue his career in the Principality.

FC Barcelona announced on Tuesday morning that they have reached an agreement with FC Andorra for the transfer of Mika Mármol to the club presided over by Gerard Piqué, putting an end to that story.

The club have not made any money from the deal, but have retained 50 per cent of the sell-on rights for the Andorran centre-back as well as a buy-back clause. The player has signed for two seasons.

Thus, Mármol will continue his career in the Principality. He will play in the second division, as Eder Sarabia's Andorra won promotion last season.

The new team of the Barça youth player have had a rough start with one win and two defeats in three games. They are fifteenth in the table.

Thus, Mika Mármol has put an end to his time at Barça with 63 appearances for the reserve team. He has scored three goals and made one assist.

He made his official debut with the first team in the penultimate match of last season: the central defender came on in injury time against Getafe.
