Messi's rant at Bolivia's fitness coach: What's your problem, baldy?
Bolivia tried to provoke Messi during Tuesday's World Cup qualifier in La Paz
Leo Messi was the centre of attention as Argentina beat Bolivia 2-1 on Tuesday in La Paz. The Barcelona captain was key in his country's win and was also involved in an exchange of words with the Bolivia fitness coach after the final whistle.
"La concha de tu madre, baldy," Messi shouted at Lucas Nava. "What's your problem, baldy? Why are you kicking off, idiot? You don't have to come and fuck with me."
Nava wasn't the only person who provoked Messi. The Bolivia striker Moreno Martins also did on various occasions.
It was resolved in the end with a booking for Messi, who at no moment got close to the opposition or raised his hands despite the heated exchange.
It's not the first time teams have tried to provoke him. The most famous time was when the Chilean defender Gary Medel successfully got him sent off.
