Leo Messi was name the best player in the Joan Gamper Trophy match on Wednesday
Lionel Messi, who made his debut as FC Barcelona's first captain in the 53rd Joan Gamper Trophy, was chosen as man of the match for the game against Boca Juniors. The Argentinian star only needed 45 minutes to earn the prize which was handed to him by beer company's head of sponsorship, Jofre Riera. Messi assisted Malcom's opening goal before scoring a trademark chipped finish to double Barça's lead.
