Leo Messi spoke about his international teammate Lautaro Martinez in an interview with Mundo Deportivo. The Argentine said the Inter Milan striker is "impressive" amid Barcelona's bid to bring him to Camp Nou.
"He's a really complete forward," Messi said. "He's strong, he's a good dribbler, he scores goals, he knows how to protect the ball. He has a lot of similarities with Luis [Suarez], they both use their bodies well and hold the ball up."
However, Messi, who said the transfer market will look very different after the coronavirus pandemic, said he's not aware of negotiations between Barça and Inter.
"We will have to see what happens with him and the other names that have been linked," he added. "If I am honest, I don't know if there are talks underway to sign him or not. I have no idea."
