Messi back in Barcelona for dinner with Xavi, Busquets and Alba
The PSG forward took advantage of some time off to meet with old friends
According to Esport3, Lionel Messi was back in Barcelona on Monday where he had dinner with his former teammates, Xavi Hernandez and Sergio Busquets.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward, the Barça coach, who turns 42 on on Tuesday, and Busquets are close friends and didn't miss the chance to get together. COPE later added that Jordi Alba was also present.
Messi played his first game of 2022 for PSG on Sunday, coming on as a substitute in a 4-0 win over Reims after recovering from COVID-19.
He has not traveled to South America to be with the Argentina international team this week, while Busquets and Alba don't have commitments with Spain because European countries have no games.
