Messi and Busquets return for La Liga trip to Girona on Sunday
Ernesto Valverde has named a strong squad for Barcelona's next La Liga match
Sergio Busquets and Lionel Messi have returned to Barcelona's squad for Sunday's game against Girona in La Liga.
Busquets and Messi were both rested in the cup against Sevilla in midweek but have been included in Ernesto Valverde's 19-man squad for this weekend's return to league action.
Denis Suarez is also in the squad. The midfielder dropped off the list for the Sevilla game at the last minute, despite being included initially.
Jeison Murillo is not included, though, the January signing from Valencia. The defender didn't play in Seville because he was suspended but there's no reason to leave him out this time -- Valverde's simply preferred Thomas Vermaelen.
The other player discarded, not including injured trio Samuel Umtiti, Ousmane Dembele and Rafinha, is Sergi Samper.
Barça squad: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Semedo, Sergi Roberto, Piqué, Lenglet, Vermaelen, Alba, Busquets, Rakitic, Arthur, Arturo Vidal, Aleñá, Denis Suárez, Messi, Luis Suárez, Prince Boateng, Malcom and Coutinho.
