Messi & Mascherano met with Argentina coach Bauza after Barça training

The three men spoke for nearly an hour at the training ground on Wednesday

Argentina coach Edgardo Bauza met with Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano after Barcelona training at the Ciutat Esportiva on Wednesday.

Bauza, who watched Tuesday's Copa del Rey game between Barça and Atletico Madrid, took advantage of his trip to the Catalan capital to meet with the two Argentines in the Blaugrana squad for nearly one hour.

It was an informal chat with Bauza asking how the two players are, about their current mood and how they're feeling given a hectic schedule, which continues into next week with the Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain.

Bauza told them that he's counting on them for the upcoming national team games: Chile on Mar. 23 and Bolivia on Mar. 28. Remember that Argentina still haven't guaranteed their progress to the World Cup and any slip-up in qualifying could prove costly.

On Thursday, Bazua will travel to Madrid to see Diego Simeone and the Argentine players at Atletico, before a trip to Manchester to see City and United's Argentines.

The objective of the trip is to get to know the synergies and dynamics of his players to enable him to work better with them when they meet up with the Albiceleste.
