Mendes pushing to bring Martin Braithwaite to Wolves

| sport

The Barca forward will leave this summer to the Premier League, but where?

Martin Braithwaite should be the next player out at Barcelona. They want 15m euros for him after his good Euro 2020 campaign and the Dane has various suitors. He will decide his own future and would like to play for a team in European competition. Agent Jorge Mendes is pushing for the forward to go to Wolves, although West Ham and Brighton are also interested.

Braithwaite arrived for 18m euros and the club want at least 15m. Four million has been amortised. He would like to stay at Barca but understands the situation and the Premier League could see him earn a bigger wage. A Russian club came in for him too but he sees England as a better destination.

Wolves have a good relationship with Jorge Mendes, and indeed signed Nelson Semedo from Barca last season. This year they loaned Trincao from the Catalans.

However Brighton is the more attractive option, but it’s a question for Braithwaite to decide upon.
