Memphis Depay will come to Barca if Ronald Koeman is there
The Lyon forward may accept other offers if the Dutch coach is binned
Memphis Depay’s signing has been discussed at Barcelona for months. They have the situation under control and he still wants to join. He’d even accept a lower edge at Barcelona than other teams, as long as Ronald Koeman remains in charge. If the coach is sacked then the issue becomes blurred and he may choose to go elsewhere.
He’s one of the bargains of the summer after a great season with Lyon and he will start the Euros with the Dutch national team. Nothing is sealed yet.
Inter Milan, Juve, and Atletico Madrid are interested and would pay him higher salaries. Depay accepts Barca’s offer but he’s waiting to see what happens next. With Koeman in charge, Depay was confident of a key role. His future will be defined soon…
