Memphis Depay, the Dutch forward, did not want to speak about his possible arrival at Barcelona. He says he’s ‘absolutely focused’ on the Euros with his national team.
The Lyon forward gave a press conference and asked by SPORT about his future, he said: “I’m absolutely focused on the national team. If you ask me about my future, I will tell you my future is Holland-Ukraine next Sunday.
“I know there’s speculation, there always is. That’s how the football works, and I am accustomed to dealing with these two types of situations. But I won’t say anything else. The transfer window is long and there’s a long time ahead of us.”
Depay did not want to speak about it, with Barcelona having offered him a deal to come to Camp Nou. His contract is up on June 30 with Lyon and he’ll be a free agent.
Asked if he would like to link up with former Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman again, he said: “Right now my work is preparing for the Euros, nothing else. Nothing else worries or distracts me.”
