Memphis Depay is moving closer to a Barcelona switch in the winter transfer window.
Ronald Koeman wanted his Dutch compatriot in the summer but the move could not take place. With Ansu Fati out for four months, his arrival seems even more imperative.
Telefoot reported quotes from Gerard Houllier, the former Lyon coach and current general manager.
"We will do everything we can to keep him, but it's very possible that.... it's football and we'll see," said Houllier.
"If his performances are likey they were before the injury it's likely other clubs will come in, but I think that Barca appreciate him a lot.
"Depay is happy in Lyon but Abidal was too and he went to Barca."
