McGuane, out on loan from Barcelona, could return to England this month

Marcus McGuane is in the news in England where there is speculation he could return to his homeland. The midfielder belongs to Barcelona still but is currently on loan at Telstar in the Dutch second division. He failed to earn a regular place in Barça's B team and left last summer in search of more minutes.
The Sun report that McGuane is back in the country negotiating with several teams. The Londoner was highly rated when he came through at Arsenal and Barça beat off competition from several other teams to sign him. He even made his first team debut for the Catalans in the Catalan Super Cup, becoming the second Englishman to play for the club after Gary Lineker.
McGuane has a contract with Barça until 2021 and will have to return to the B team in the summer. In the case that an agreement is reach with an English team this month, the Blaugrana will have the final word.
