Madrid beat Celta Vigo 2-1 on Saturday with the help of three penalties

Enric Masip, advisor to Barcelona president Joan Laporta, has commented on events on Saturday as Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 2-1 to strengthen their grip on top spot in LaLiga.

Both of Madrid's goals came from penalties and they also missed a third spot-kick, with Masip posting a laconic "against all odds" ("contra viento y marea").

Masip, with his comments, wanted to say that Barça will have to fight against everything if they want to haul in Madrid -- as unlikely as it is -- after the manner in which the penalties, especially the third, which decided the game, were awarded.

In any case, Masip's message is unequivocal: Barça, no matter what happens, will continue to fight for the league until mathematics says it's impossible.
