Mascherano misses Eibar and is a doubt for Copa del Rey final

Luis Enrique was asked in Saturday's press conference about the fitness of defenders Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano, who both missed last weekend's win over Las Palmas. 

On the Catalan defender, Luis Enrique confirmed that he has recovered from a stomach bug which saw him admitted to hospital and will be available against Eibar at Camp Nou on Sunday. 

"Pique has trained as normal over the last two days and if he’s fine tomorrow he will be in the squad," the Barça coach said. 

However, he's not so certain about Mascherano, who injured his thigh during the wam up ahead of last Sunday's game against Las Palmas. 

Luis Enrique added: "We still have to wait to know if [Mascherano] can play in the final of the Copa del Rey [against Alaves next Satuday]."
