Martin Braithwaite's three options to leave Barcelona in January

Several Premier League sides have asked about the Danish forward

Barcelona are working on selling players in January so that they can sign the players Ronald Koeman wants. With La Liga revealing on Tuesday that Barça's salary limit has been cut by almost €300 million in comparison to last season, they have no choice but to keep trying to balance their wage bill.

Therefore, offers will be listened to for players who are not playing regularly. One of those is Martin Braithwaite and several Premier League clubs have asked about the Danish striker. Barça would prefer a permanent sale but would be open to a loan, although the player is reluctant to leave Camp Nou.

Barça and Braithwaite's people looked at the Premier League options in the summer but nothing convinced, despite West Ham United's interest. Barça's desire to sell for €18 million halted talks.

However, West Ham remain keen on Braithwaite and they have been joined by two other Premier League sides. West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United are also tracking him and have asked about his situation. There are no offers yet but the club are aware that Braithwaite will have options if he agrees to leave.

That seems a decisive point in the negotiations -- because Braithwaite has no interest in leaving, explaining that he's happy despite not playing. He feels he's enjoying a huge opportunity and that he will grow much more where he is, surrounded by great players, than in another team where he will play more.

Braithwaite's people are open to leaving, as they agreed when they signed for Barça. They knew he was arriving as a short-term fix due to injuries. For Barça, they need to do the deal to save on wages if they want to sign another forward. They would listen to offers of around 15 million euros.

And Braithwaite knows he needs minutes if he wants to be involved in the European Championships next summer with Denmark.
