The Danish international has drawn interest but his wages are a problem

It's been a tough season for Martin Braithwaite. It started well, with a double against Real Sociedad and three successive starts, but from there injuries have held him back. In fact, since then, he's only played 10 minutes in LaLiga against Osasuna and 12 in the Copa del Rey against Athletic Club.

In January, he had a chat with Xavi Hernandez in which the coach encouraged him to look for an exit because he was not in his plans.

In fact, since he's recovered from an injury, he's been ostracised. There were offers from England in January, but Braithwaite preferred to stay at Camp Nou.

Brighton are one of the teams that remain interested, but there is a problem: he has a contract until 2024 and a salary of around four million euros annually, which makes him too expensive for most possible suitors.

Barça will have to try and resolve the problem in the summer.
