The Danish player met with officials and is heading to Barcelona
Martin Braithwaite is heading to Barcelona. The Danish player will come as the Catalans pay his 18 million euro buy-out clause, and he said goodbye at the club offices this afternoon, meeting the president. He had spent half a season on loan there and half a season after they bought him.
It all came about on Wednesday with Barca wanting the forward in training on Thursday. They have not yet paid the clause. The former Toulouse and Middlesbrough forward is the chosen man as Ousmane Dembele's emergency replacement. It's a big set back for Lega, who lost En Nesyri for 20m euros to Sevilla already.
