Martin Braithwaite asks to stay at Barça if Memphis Depay and Aubameyang leave!

There could be a drastic turn of events in Martin Braithwaite's case. The out-of-favour striker could find his way into the squad with the potential moves of Memphis to Juventus and Aubameyang to Chelsea. With Lewandowski the only other recognised 9 in the squad, the Dane believes he deserves a chance to fight for his place.

Braithwaite has desired to stay with Barça, and he has been very stern about it. The club have been trying hard to show him the way out, whilst hoping he would agree to terminate his contract for free.

The sidelined Dane didn't want to do any favours, and would only leave if paid in full, as per his contract.

Barça will lose a lot of goals with Memphis and Aubameyang exits, but with the return of Ansu Fati to full fitness as well Ferran Torres can fill in at 9.

Xavi and the club have made it clear since the window opened that Braithwaite has to leave, and this is unlikely to change.
