Per Marca, there has been contact made with the player's people. The 22-year-old is having a good season with Villarreal. His 25 million euro release clause makes him an attractive target.
Unai Emery's Arsenal are interested in him, but so are Real Madrid, PSG and Man City. Fulham and West Ham have also been linked with bids in the winter window.
