Manchester United's offer that disappeared after Ousmane Dembele injury

The English club had some interest in the French forward but no longer

| sport

It was the summer of Ousmane Dembele. For better or worse. He has a year left on his Barcelona deal and his future was at stake. He had to renew or be sold. But then he got injured and now he will be out for four months. A jar of cold water on Barcelona’s head, and an offer has disappeared.

Manchester United were willing to pay 50 million euros for Dembele this summer, per Onze. Last year they were close to signing him.

Dembele had an operation on Monday on his right knee tendon and it will keep him out until the end of October, roughly. Man United are no longer interested.

Now it won’t be easy for Barcelona, whatever happens. Even the decision to renew his deal, if he accepts, is not clear cut.
