Manchester United to make an all-out offensive to sign Frenkie de Jong

Manchester United are convinced that they will sign Frenkie de Jong before the end of the transfer window. As reported by the Dutch newspaper Telegraaf, who are in touch with the player's entourage, United are going to launch an all-out offensive over the next week to sign the midfielder and they believe a deal is very possible despite Chelsea's proposals. United have remained in constant contact with the player and his agent.

The English club, according to The Athletic, will sign Rabiot but have saved most of their transfer budget for the signing of De Jong. Their coach, Erik Ten Hag, has reportedly given orders to up the offer and go all out to convince the player. He has taken charge of the situation and it is even possible there will be a face-to-face meeting with the player to finally close this chapter.

Chelsea have been bidding in the last few days, but without much conviction as Tuchel's priority is to sign a top-level centre-forward. He has allowed the De Jong issue to stagnate due to the lack of response from the player and his entourage.

Barça, with almost all the signings registered, are going to keep up the pressure on De Jong. The club are indignant with the attitude of his agent, who has refused negotiations and does not want to hear about a salary reduction.
