United tried and failed to sign the France international from Barça last year

Everything indicates that Ousmane Dembele will be one of the transfer sagas of the summer at Barcelona. The Catalan club have started talks about a new deal, with his contract up in 2022, but the player has said he's in no rush to renew.

As negotiations continue, other clubs are showing an interest in Dembele. According to The Sun, Manchester United have once again asked about the French international.

United's top target is Jason Sancho but they cannot agree on a price with Borussia Dortmund. According to the BBC, the German side have rejected a €70 million bid for the England star, so United could look elsewhere.

Remember that they tried to sign Dembele last year when they failed to bring in Sancho, too, but the deal collapsed close to deadline day.

The Premier League side are not Barça's only concern. According to Catalunya Radio, Juventus have offered Dembele a five-year deal worth €45m -- €9m a year -- on the condition that he runs his contract down and joins for free next year.

Barça hope to keep Dembele at the club but they are not enjoying his camp's negotiating style. They seem to be taking their time to listen to other offers.

If they cannot strike a deal over a new contract this summer, Barça will look to sell this year to avoid losing him for free in 2022.
