Man City striker Sergio Aguero has his knee checked at Barcelona clinic
Barça want to see the state of Aguero's knee before committing to signing the Argentine
Sergio Aguero is finalising his move to Barcelona. The Argentina striker, who arrived in the Catalan city on Sunday, has undergone a medical on his left knee on Monday following an operation a year ago by Dr. Ramon Cugat. Before completing the signing, Barça want to know that Aguero's fully recovered and for that reason he underwent an exhaustive check at the Clínica Creu Blanca on Monday.
According to AS, Aguero's check up was with Cugat. The television cameras from La Sexta, among others, pictured the Manchester City forward leaving his hotel in the morning and arriving at the clinic for the tests. Asked if he will sign for Barça, Aguero opted against making comments. It remains to be seen if in the coming hours the signing is announced officially, given terms have already been agreed. However, Aguero's arrival also depends on Lionel Messi staying, so that could hold things up a few more days.
In addition, Aguero took advantage of his stay in Barcelona to give the green light to what would be his new home in the city. With a tight schedule coming up with Argentine this summer, he wont have time to look for somewhere else. The Albiceleste have a World Cup qualifier against Chile on Thursday, so Aguero's in a rush to get to South America with the Copa America also set to be played this summer.
