The 17 year old midfielder is a fixture for club and country and big teams want him

Gavi’s future is still up in the air. The Barcelona midfielder is out of contract in 2023 and negotiations to extend his deal are still not complete. There is hope they will reach an agreement in the coming days, however.

Despite Gavi’s dream being to succeed at Camp Nou and stay at the club, Man City and Liverpool are closely watching the situation of the Sevilla-born midfielder. The two Premier League giants dream of signing him, even more so after the strong displays he has put in for Spain in the Nations League.

Per the Liverpool Echo, City are willing to enter the fight with Liverpool to try and tie down the promising youngster, while PSG and Bayern are interested too,.

The player is the worst paid in the squad at present, as he still gets a youth team salary, earning close to one million euros a year. Barcelona are offering to double that, but he wants closer to four million.
