Malcom will be officially presented as a Barça player in the US
After passing his medical in Barcelona the player will fly out to join his teammates in Portland
Barcelona's surprise signing, the Brazilian winger Malcom, could be officially presented as a Barça player in the United States.
Sources at the club didn't want to 100% confirm the information but everything suggests that the former Bordeaux winger will be presented at the Dossier Hotel in Portland some time on Thursday.
What is certain is that this Wednesday morning Malcom will have his medical tests ahead of signing his contract. As soon as they are concluded he will catch the next plane out to Portland.
Once he's there, taking advantage of the fact the club's president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the club's directors are with the team, the Brazilian will be presented to the media on Thursday morning.
This has caused some problems for the media outlets covering Barcelona's tour as most had planned to leave Portland tomorrow morning and head to Los Angeles. Instead they'll now need to reorganise trips if they are to cover Malcom's presentation too.
Malcom will soon join his new teammates in the US and start working under the orders of Ernesto Valverde.
