There are reports in England which suggest Arsenal are about to offer €40m to sign the winger

Barça have already decided to cash in on Malcom. The Brazilian is having a productive preseason and the coaching staff are happy with him but the club know they need to generate money from sales. There's a lot of interest in Malcom and according to the 'Mirror', Arsenal have offered €40m for his services. Whilst at the club, Barça feel Malcom could end up signing for Tottenham or a Serie A club instead.

The priority is to find Malcom a permanent transfer rather than loan him out. No one is unhappy with the Brazilian's performances but they don't see him getting enough minutes to justify keeping him on the books. The plan is to bring in around €50m from his sale.

Arsenal have been following Malcom's situation for a while now but it was believed they preferred a loan deal. Whilst the 'Mirror' insist the London club have made an offer of around €40m, Barça sources claim that isn't the case. Tottenham are watching events from afar whilst the only concrete interest in the winger has come from Serie A and Bundesliga.

The player himself is happy at Barça and willing to fight for his spot but is also aware he won't get the minutes he needs if he stays. Moving on Malcom would free up a non-EU spot in the squad too, something which might be needed if a transfer for Neymar becomes a possibility.
