The Barcelona forward gave an interview to journalist Acraf Ben Ayad

Malcom spoke openly in an interview with Bein SPORTS journalist Acraf Ben Ayad. One of the protagonists of the last few weeks has been Ousmane Dembélé. The Brazilian winger said that “(Dembele) is young, we will support him in all the situations for him to learn. I am (young) too. We are supporting him from the dressing room.”

The arrival of Malcom at Barça was quite controversial. When he was on his way to Rome, Barça opted to sign him and at that point the Brazilian had no doubts. "I was happy to go to Rome but when Barça appeared for me it was a childhood dream, when I was with my mother I told her that one day I would play at Barcelona. I always told her. And when I had the opportunity, I did not think twice and the truth is that I am very happy with that decision."

Beginnings are never simple and it was hard for Malcom to get into Valverde's plans. "Nothing is easy, never. Barcelona is the best team in the world. It is difficult, there are many players with quality, many were in the World Cup, you have to be patient, be calm in your head and when there are opportunities, take advantage of them.”

And his opportunity came against Inter Milan. "Debuting in the Champions League and scoring gave me more confidence, strength and desire to continue. You have to work and fight until the end, I will not give up.”
