The sporting director says the Dutchman has a deal with Barcelona
Olympique Lyon sporting director Juninho says that Memphis Depay will likely play this season at Barcelona.
"He has 12 months left on his contract. He has a deal with Barcelona, we won't hide it," said Juninho to Telefoot. "It's possible that tomorrow he signs for Barca but it is not certain. The most probable thing is that he goes."
Jean Michel Aulas, the Lyon president, had said that Depay would not go if he had not arranged a transfer by Thursday. Depay didn't start today for his club because of the potential move.
The transfer figure would be around 25 million euros because Depay's contract ends at the end of the season. That is half of what they initially wanted.
