Luuk de Jong in line to return to Barcelona side against Osasuna

The Dutch forward has not started since the Kyiv game on Oct. 20

Barcelona will look to bounce back from defeat in Munich in Pamplona this weekend but they will do so with many injuries, especially in attack.

The injury to Memphis Depay leaves Luuk de Jong as the only natural striker available to Xavi, who hinted the Dutchman will start against Osasuna.

De Jong, on loan from Sevilla, has not started for Barça since Oct. 20, when they beat Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 at Camp Nou in the Champions League.

"Luuk is a example professional, a striker with different qualities," Xavi said. "We have to adapt to what we have. It's one of the solutions we have and we will take advantage of it."

In principle, Ousmane Dembele and Abde could accompany the Dutch international in attack, with Coutinho, Demir and Ferran Jutgla also options, along with Gavi in a more advanced role.
