Luka Jovic responds to rumoured interest from FC Barcelona

The Eintracht striker is preparing for the match against Shakthar Donetsk but admits he is flattered by the links to huge European clubs

It's hard to ignore the speculation when you're one of the most wanted players in Europe. Luka Jovic is no different. In the last few days he's been linked with moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid after scoring 19 goals in 27 matches this season.

The Ukranian outlet ‘Sportbuzzer’ have spoken to the striker about the interest from Barça and other clubs in signing him next summer. "I feel flattered to have such important clubs interested in me but right now I'm focused on Frankfurt and I'm really happy here," he said.

Barcelona know it'd cost them €40m to sign the young striker but Josep Maria Bartomeu said there won't be any transfer talks with anyone until April or May. That is when the sporting department will meet to discuss plans for next season.
