Luis Suárez won't join up with Uruguay in the upcoming international break. FC Barcelona announced this Friday the striker will instead remain in Spain and work on a personalised training program. This is the same one he's been on since his most recent injury problems.
Most recently Suarez scored a brace against Inter Milan in the Champions League.
The Barça number nine isn't the only significant absentee for head coach Óscar Washington Tabárez. PSG's Edison Cavani still hasn't fully recovered from his own injury issues and will remain in Paris for treatment.
