Luis Suarez says "goals will come" after stellar Lyon showing goes unrewarded
The Uruguayan played well against Lyon but didn't break his European duck
Luis Suarez was delighted to help Barcelona book their place in the Champions League quarterfinals with a 5-1 win over Lyon on Wednesday.
The Uruguayan failed to score in a European game once again but he played well, winning a penalty and setting up Philippe Coutinho's goal in the win.
"I'm excited to get through, the team's growing in confidence and into the next round," he said before adding that "it's true that strikers live for goals, but the goals will come."
There was a difficult spell for Barça at 2-1 in the second half before Lionel Messi -- who scored two and made two -- wrapped things up for the home side.
Suarez added: "We were great in the first half. We knew the rival would push a bit more in the second half and after their goal there were five or 10 minutes when the grew a bit more, so it was important to kill the game off at 3-1 and relax."
On the penalty, which Suarez won following a foul by Jason Denayer, the Uruguayan admitted: "I stepped on him without meaning to and I think after that he destabilised me. That's why the referee is there, he can whistle [if he wants]."
