Luis Suarez has been named as LaLiga Santander's Player of the Month for October after a series of stunning performances in the absence of Lionel Messi.
With four goals and two assists, the Uruguayan striker had a key role in helping Barca re-establish themselves at the top of the league table.
Suarez scored a hat-trick in the Clasico hammering of Real Madrid, with his other goal coming in the important win over Sevilla -- he also set up two goals, illustrating his importance to Barça's attack.
He took on extra responsibility after Messi -- who won the award in September -- got injured in the early stages of the win over Sevilla.
