The Barcelona forward can't wait to get back to action after months on the sidelines

Injury had never kept Luis Suarez out of action for five months before. Luis Suarez is nervous and excited, according to the dressing room, now he is poised to return. He's anxious, motivated and especially good in training, say dressing room sources. He feels alive, different to the sensation with which he waved goodbye - having his knee operation after losing the Spanish Super Cup.

"I didn't know how I would come back," admitted Suarez. He's had various jobs done on the knee but took a total reset in January in surgery which would keep him four months out.

He would lose the rest of the season but because of the coronavirus break, he's only missed 12 of the 26 games he should have and can now help the team again.

"And now he's really firing," said the dressing room. "You just have to see him in training. He's excited like never before."

Return to action has got him back in the zone. At his age he has to take care of himself but he can also let loose and enjoy this unexpected gift.
