Reports in Italy suggest a fee has been agreed between the two clubs

Luis Suarez is edging closer to completing his move to Juventus. Reports in Italy say an agreement has now been reached for the Uruguaya striker to leave Barcelona. He will earn around 10 million euros per season over the next three years, providing he obtains an Italian passport and doesn't take up a non-EU place.

Barça and Juve have also reached an agreement according to the journalist Tancredi Palmeri, who says the Serie A champions will pay an initial fee of €3 million. Another €13m will then be due in a number of add-ons, half of which will be dependent on games played and the other half on success in the Champions League.

However, Barça and Suarez still must agree on the recision of the player's contract. He has one year to go on his deal at Camp Nou, with an option for a further year until 2022 if he plays a certain amount of games next season. If the middle ground is found, his move to Juve could become a step closer to reality.
