Luis Suarez is in Italy to take his nationality test
The Uruguayan forward wants to sign for Juventus but needs to become an Italian citizen
Luis Suarez landed at Perugia airport on Thursday to take his Italian nationality test. The Uruguayan played in Spain without counting as a non-EU player thanks to the family of his wife, who are from Italy, but that alone won't give him the same status in Serie A as he touts a Juventus move.
So he flew to Italy to pass a language test on which would let him play for the Italian champions not as a foreign player. Ronald Koeman told Suarez he was not wanted at Barca but if he stays he will be part of the squad this season.
