Luis Suarez: I celebrated my goal angrily because Roma scored
The Uruguayan had gone 392 days without scoring in the Champions League
Luis Suarez broke a run of 392 days without scoring in the Champions League, firing home the fourth for Barcelona in a 4-1 win over Roma.
The forward celebrated wildly after scoring but put that down to Roma's goal minutes earlier rather than his own drought ending.
“I celebrated it with anger because they had scored just before and at 4-1 we can go there a bit more calmly,” explained the hitman.
Suarez also said the own goals were down to Barca's good work in attack.
"If we don't get to the area with good combination play, those goals can't happen. We had a lot of chances to score and their keeper had a great game, the result is not unfair."
