Luis Enrique's message to Barcelona fans after Juve beating
The Barcelona coach says that if fans want to whistle they can but he'd prefer if they supported the team
He acknowledged that Barcelona is a club used to winning so when they don't things can turn sour
Luis Enrique sent a message to Barcelona fans after the team's 3-0 defeat by Juventus, as the team prepare to take on Real Sociedad.
"It's normal for fans to be angry, they have every right to be. This club is about winning, we’re not used to not winning," said the coach.
"I have to accept responsibility when we don’t win. I know large sections of fans will be behind us, this is the time when they have to do so, more than ever. My advice is that they whistle at the end of the season.
"If they want to whistle me, they can do it, I won't lose a single ball. I would love it if the fans supported everyone. If anyone wants to whistle, I respect that.
"But I know it will be a delicate game tomorrow because they’re used to giving joy to the fans. All we can do is go out and play our game tomorrow."
