Luis Enrique casts more doubt: "The future doesn't exist"

The Asturian already said on Barca TV that he would have to "evaluate the negative side" of his work before deciding if he would stay

Luis Enrique started 2017 much the same way he left 2016, leaving many doubts in the air about his continuity at Barcelona. If the Asturian already said on Barca TV that he would have to "evaluate the negative side" of his work before deciding if he would stay or not, on Wednesday in the press conference ahead of the Copa clash with Athletic, he offered uncertainty again when asked about his future.

"When there is something to communicate, if there is, I will do it. Now is not the moment for that, but instead the game against Athletic," said Lucho.

Then when somebody asked him if, like Pep Guardiola said recently, he too is arriving at the final stages of his career as a coach he joked "you would likes that". He continued: "The future does not exist. I make plans sometimes but I've leaned that the more I plan, the worse things go for me. Better to enjoy the day to day."
