Lucas Torreira's move to Fiorentina complicates things for Pjanic
The Barcelona midfielder hopes to return to Italy before the transfer window closes
Fiorentina have closed a deal for the Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira, who will join the club on loan from Arsenal with an option to buy for 15 million euros.
The former Atletico Madrid player, according to the journalist Fabrizio Romano, will arrive in Italy this week to undergo a medical ahead of his signing.
Torreira's move to Fiorentina closes the door on Miralem Pjanic, the Barcelona midfielder who was another option for the Serie A club.

Arsenal receive €1.5m loan fee. There’s no bid from Watford for Elneny - talks on but no agreement yet with Fenerbahçe for Kolasinac.
Fiorentina had met with Pjanic's agents and spoken with Barça, along with several other Italian sides, but have now turned their focus elsewhere.
Napoli, Roma and Juventus are also keen. Juve can't make a move until they sell Aaron Ramsey though after signing Locatelli last week.
Pjanic hopes to leave Barça before the transfer window closes in search of regular football, aware that he will not get minutes under Ronald Koeman at Camp Nou.
