Liverpool name their asking price for Barça target Gini Wijnaldum

Gini Wijnaldum is one of FC Barcelona's main objectives during this summer window. The Dutch midfielder is someone Ronald Koeman has specifically asked for and now, according to the 'Mirror', Liverpool have named their price: 17 million euros.

That price coincides with what SPORT were told four days ago: "With just one year left on his deal, Barça hope to sign the player for a little over €15m plus variables, although it could reach €20m in total." The relationship between the two teams is strong and Liverpool are open to letting Wijnaldum go rather than losing him for free next summer.

Koeman believes the midfielder has a different profile compared to the options he already has at Barça.
