The Argentinian star, who was injured in his first preseason training session of the summer, remains in the gym and isn't ready to return to training ahead of the second LaLiga match against Real Betis.
His teammate Luis Suarez, also suffering from a calf injury, didn't train and has been ruled out of next week's contest.
