Lionel Messi shows off his new, heavily modified tattoo in Argentina training

The Barcelona star has revealed the change as he prepares for a vital game against Brazil on Thursday

Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi has shown off his new tattoo.

However, rather than a new design, the 29-year-old seems to have taken a step back, with his left leg now almost blacked out.

Messi was photographed in training for Argentina ahead of his country’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Brazil.

The design previously featured a sword, flowers, and wings, but now all that is left is the No.10, which he famously wears when he plays, his son’s hands and the football.

Remember that Leo Messi is a big fan of tattoos and has several in various parts of his body, some relating to his mother, others to his sons, Thiago and Mateo.

Messi even had a go at being a tattoo artist once, tattooing the number "10" onto the wrist of one of the men who does his tattoos.
