Lionel Messi has returned to training. The Argentine forward was the main talking points from Barcelona's session on Saturday, which took place at Camp Nou.

After missing training on Wednesday and Friday with a muscular problem, Messi returned to work over the weekend. He worked individually, away from his teammates, but his recovery is on track.

Messi's return coincided with Barça's first session at Camp Nou. It's been three months since the last game there, against Real Sociedad, which was followed by the coronavirus lockdown.

The reason for the change of venue is that coach Quique Setien wants his players to adapt to working in silence, without fans, which is how the rest of the season will be played out until the relevant authorities say otherwise.

Nelson Semedo and Ansu Fati did not train with the group, either, due to fitness issues and are doubts for the trip to Mallorca next weekend.
