Lionel Messi is the king of assists in La Liga
The Argentine has over 150 now in the competition
Lionel Messi is beating all of La Liga's records and as well as being the top goalscorer in the division's history with 387 strikes, he also is the assist leader too with 151 after the two he laid on against SD Huesca.
The No 10 has been giving assists since the 2005-06 season, with 2010-11 and 2014-15 the ones he has given most in - 18 in each.
In a study Barcelona's website say he is ahead of Dani Alves (101 assists) and Xavi Hernandez (91). Other players with the most assists in the 21st century are Cristiano Ronaldo (87) and Joaquin (74).
