Leo Messi is deadly from outside the area. When asked how his play has improved he says thanks to his right foot getting better and by setting more goals up, but in recent times he has got very good at scoring from distance too.

In the last 10 seasons nobody has scored more from outside the area than he has - 57 goals - across the five big leagues. At Mestalla he did it again to earn Barca a 1-1 draw against Valencia.
