The Clásico del Río de La Plata between Argentina and Uruguay will be played in November before the two teams kick off their World Cup qualifying campaign in March.
The Argentine Football Association have announced that they will face their rivals at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv on Nov. 19.
For fans of football in Israel, it could give them the chance to see Lionel Messi in action. The Barcelona forward is expected to return from his suspension in the next international break.
In addition, they could see him go up against his Barça teammate and close friend Luis Suarez in the fixture.
Argentine will go into the game on the back of a friendly against Brazil in Saudi Arabia four days earlier (Nov. 15), while Uruguay play on the same day in Hungary.
