Lewandowski makes a special request to Barça in his presentation event
The Pole, who had a very special day, asked the club to hold a separate press conference with more than 30 accredited media from his country.
Robert Lewandowski had an unforgettable day on Friday. He was accompanied at all times by his family, namely, his inseparable wife (and dietitian), his mother Iwona, his mother-in-law and his closest friends, who all shared one of the most important days of his career with him.
The presentation event went off without a hitch. More than 50,000 people gathered at Camp Nou to welcome the newest star and icon of Barça. After the show on the pitch, which included speeches, an endless photo session and even a lap of honour to greet the fans up close, the Polish striker attended a press conference.
GESTURE TO HIS COMPATRIOTS
The Pole wanted to make a special request to the club. While he would of course attend to all the national and international press, as was logical and marked the protocol, the player also requested the opportunity to address the media from his homeland. According to SPORT, it was the player himself who expressed this desire and the communication department granted it. Between 30 and 40 Polish media attended the presentation of Poland's top football player.
